PALO ALTO, Calif. — February 15, 2018 — ThoughtSpot, the leader in search-driven analytics for the enterprise, today announced the company will attend, speak, and exhibit at the Gartner Data & Analytics Summit 2018 on March 5-8, 2018 in Grapevine, Texas. Gartner’s conference will host CIOs, senior IT and business executives, and analysts.
ThoughtSpot CMO Scott Holden will participate in a session titled Innovative Analytics in Action: Emerging Trends You Need to Know alongside leaders from Automated Insights, Stories, and DataRobot, and Gartner Research VP Rita L. Sallam on Sunday, March 4, 2018 at 3:30 - 5:30pm. The session will focus on the evolution of the Analytics and BI market and the role augmented analytics, natural-language query, and natural-language generation have in propelling data discovery forward. In the session, Holden will demonstrate ThoughtSpot’s search-driven analytics, including new augmented analytics capabilities called SpotIQ, as well as share ThoughtSpot’s perspective on how business leaders should evaluate this next generation of analytics technology.
“We feel that Gartner's ‘Innovative Analytics in Action’ session is one of the most anticipated and well-attended sessions at their annual analytics summit, demonstrating the technology trends shaping the future of data and analytics,” said Holden. “We're honored to be one of the four vendors presenting alongside Gartner’s Rita L. Sallam. We view it as an opportunity to share the power of ThoughtSpot's search & AI-driven analytics with the summit’s attendees.”
ThoughtSpot was included for the first time in the Gartner 2017 Magic Quadrant for Business Intelligence and Analytics Platforms1. The report evaluated vendors based on completeness of vision and ability to execute.
According to Gartner2, “By 2020, 50% of analytical queries will be generated via search, natural-language processing or voice, or will be automatically generated”. At the Gartner Data and Analytics Summit 2018, ThoughtSpot will demonstrate its next generation analytics platform, including the company’s Relational Search Engine and SpotIQ, an AI-driven insight engine launched in 2017 to help non-technical business people uncover data insights in seconds. SpotIQ answers questions people care about, but may not have known to ask by automatically generating thousands of queries from billions of data points, and bringing back dozens of insights in seconds - all with a single click. ThoughtSpot’s next generation analytics platform puts the power of 1,000 analysts in the hands of front-line employees, saving both time and resources.
