SUNNYVALE, Calif. — November 4, 2021 — ThoughtSpot, the Modern Analytics Cloud company, today announced the expansion of its global success hub network with the opening of its new location in Bucharest, Romania. The new hub will help support the fast growing demand from companies across Europe looking for new ways to build their businesses on data. The hub will include customer success, sales engineering, and other critical roles to ensure companies are able to leverage their data for maximum value.
The seventh global success hub will complement locations in Plano, TX; Seattle, WA; London, GB; Dusseldorf, GER; Bangalore, IND; and Sunnyvale, CA.
Today’s hub opening follows a year of tremendous cloud growth for ThoughtSpot, including:
The onboarding of its first 100 enterprise SaaS customers in the span of six months
Growing ARR from cloud products by 250% YoY in the past year
Cloud products now making up half of ThoughtSpot’s annual recurring revenue, a milestone achieved in under two years
Having 85% of new customers purchase cloud products, a quarter of which were six-figure investments
Planning to expand global headcount by 25% over the next year
Amid the pandemic and shift to remote work, ThoughtSpot launched its Modern Analytics Cloud, empowering companies around the world to realize the benefits of their investments in digital transformation by delivering consumer-grade analytics to every user, in every corner of their cloud ecosystem with a simple, actionable, and open analytics platform. This past year also saw the release of ThoughtSpot Everywhere, a developer-friendly platform to build interactive data apps with search and AI-driven analytics.
The Modern Analytics Cloud is a new consumer front end to the back end technological innovation happening across the entire ecosystem, and the platform already offers support for a number of services from partners like Snowflake, Databricks, Microsoft, Google BigQuery, AWS, DataRobot, and more. Additionally, ThoughtSpot’s SpotApps -- a scriptable application -- allows users to migrate multiple objects to and from clusters, regardless of if they’re in development or production environments.
“Companies across Europe are facing some of the most significant disruption to their business in decades. From the ongoing global pandemic to Brexit to growing global competition, the challenges our customers are facing have never been greater. But, so too, is the opportunity. The key, as our customers tell us over and over again, lies in data,” said Damien Brophy, Vice President, EMEA at ThoughtSpot. “The innovation and value we’re seeing created when customers adopt the Modern Analytics Cloud has been inspiring. Today’s announcement of the new success hub in Romania means we’ll be able to bring this level of transformation to even more brands as they ditch their dashboards and embrace the modern data stack.”
